Peggy Smith-Puckett

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist


President and founder of Puckett Counseling Services, LLC. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in May, 2003 with a Masters of Education degree in Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am licensed with the Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family Therapists as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a Registered Play Therapist and a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor. I have worked in the mental health field for 16 years. Special areas of expertise include adolescent and child behavior problems, relationship problems, abuse (including sexual abuse survivors) and other trauma-related issues, post traumatic stress disorder, depression and anxiety issues, parenting education and support, and stress/anger management. Professional Member of the Association for Play Therapy. When not at the office I enjoy hiking, boating, travel to our nation's national parks, scrapbooking, and crocheting.

Dr. Jodi Crane

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor


Jodi Crane is a part-time therapist with Puckett Counseling and works as an Associate Professor of Counseling and Human Services at Lindsey Wilson College. Jodi is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor.  She earned a doctorate in 2000 in Counselor Education with a specialization in Play Therapy from the University of North Texas, a master’s in 1994 in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University, and a bachelor’s in 1992 in Psychology from Texas Christian University. Jodi is also Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors for the Association for Play Therapy.

Pam Hunter

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate


Pam is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College School of Professional Counseling with a Masters of Education degree in Counseling and Human Development, specializing in Mental Health Counseling (May 2013). Presently, Pam is an (LPCA) Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Kentucky, working towards becoming an (LPCC) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, while practicing under the supervision of Peggy Smith-Puckett, LMFT. One of Pam's overall goals is to help her clients overcome the challenges that they face each and every day. Pam uses a collaborative, strength-based approach to therapy in which each individual is important to the process.   Pam works with children, teens, adults and families.  Pam is working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), as well as becoming certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Pam is currently a member of (APT) Association for Play Therapy. Pam is a mother of three boys.  Pam enjoys reading, being creative, and spending time with her family.

Jenna Shipley

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate


Jenna is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College School of Professional Counseling earning a Masters of Education in Human Development and Counseling, with an emphasis in Mental Health. Jenna is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) under the supervision of Dr. Jodi Crane while working on becomina a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Jenna maintains office space in Glasgow providing outpatient therapy services and targeted case management services for adults, children, and families. Jenna has one child, a boy who is active in sports activities.

Carrie Holstrom

Office Manager


Carrie is a 1997 graduate of the Mental Health Counseling graduate program at Western Kentucky University.  This education along with many years of career experience as a case manager gives her a unique vantage point as the Office Manager of Puckett Counseling Services.  Carrie has a thorough understanding of the counseling process and uses that knowledge to help clients as they consider coming for counseling.  She is happy to answer any questions you may have regarding counseling, scheduling appointments, and your insurance coverage as she knows these items lay the groundwork for a successful counseling experience.
