Licensed Mental Health Professional: Full-time (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW or an associate) Our agency seeks to provide a warm, inviting, and safe atmosphere for our clients. Our team of professionals maintain strong working alliances with one another, as well as with their clients, which involves being an accountable and collaborative team member, treating clients, families, and coworkers with dignity and respect; and ensuring that empathy and compassion are the basis for interactions with all those served. Applicants will hold a license in the state of Kentucky and be eligible or can become eligible to provide mental health services to Medicaid recipients. If fully licensed, eligible to provide mental health services to Medicaid recipients as well as clients with private insurance. Applicant will provide the full range of outpatient mental health services including diagnostic assessment; individual (adults and children), family and group psychotherapy; and crisis intervention as needed. ESSENTIAL TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES Timely, compliant clinical documentation and billing practices as measured by: • Rules/standards set forth by Medicaid/Medicare, • Understands and complies with the requirement of managed care/insurance companies when treating their members, • Completes all documentation using the electronic medical record; and • Encourages client responsibility by attending to and discussing payment issues when necessary. • Accepting all appropriate case referrals, • Maintains electronic schedule of all client appointments • Following agency policies regarding tracking and addressing frequent no shows, and discharges clients after discussion with supervisor. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Master’s degree in a mental health related field, plus appropriate independent license. • Computer skills sufficient to learn and utilize the electronic medical record are a mandatory requirement for all staff. • Ability to effectively understand and communicate in both written and oral form. • Sensitive to the cultural needs of the individual and/or family served. • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place. Each of our therapists has a private office and access to a fully equipped playroom, sand tray, and art room.
